Physician Who ‘The Evil of the Daleks’ to be novelised by Frazer Hines

An ingenious new retelling of an all-time basic Physician Who journey, The Evil of the Daleks, will likely be printed as a novel in October.

First launched in 1967 on our tv screens, The Evil of the Daleks would be the first novel from beloved Physician Who actor, Frazer Hines, who performed one of many present’s longest operating companions, Jamie McCrimmon. Jamie was companion to Patrick Troughton’s Second Physician from 1966-69.

After defending an area station from a Cyberman incursion, the Physician and Jamie be taught that younger astrophysicist Zoe needs to affix them on their travels. To offer her honest warning of the risks she might face, the Physician locations the TARDIS outdoors time and area and makes use of a thoughts projector to share considered one of their most harrowing adventures…

And so, Jamie is pressured to relive his encounter with the Daleks at their most evil and calculating. In a posh plot that dragged him from modern-day London to Victorian instances and at last to the Dalek world of Skaro, he endured ordeals that examined his braveness, energy – and his friendship with the Physician – to the restrict. He presents his personal model of a few of these occasions to Zoe; occasions that also anger him.

And whereas reality and fiction blur contained in the TARDIS, a malevolent pressure watches from outdoors. Quickly, Jamie finds himself lured from the protection of the ship into risks that would finish Zoe’s travels earlier than they start – and all their lives, as effectively.
