A free exhibition at Riverside Studios titled Regeneration at Riverside celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of Physician Who in collaboration with the BBC.

The exhibition options distinctive pictures from the BBC’s huge photographic archives, together with seminal photographs of Physician Who manufacturing at Riverside Studios, which performed a pivotal position within the lifetime of the programme.

Riverside studios was the principal residence of Sequence Two to 4 of Physician Who and, importantly, was the place the primary ever regeneration scene was filmed. Most of the sequence’ iconic characters – a few of that are nonetheless seen on our screens at present – have been first unveiled at Riverside.

Regeneration at Riverside is open within the Atrium of Riverside Studios on Crisp Highway within the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham from 16 October to three December with funding from the BBC and The Nationwide Lottery Heritage Fund.
