Nick Cave’s darkly comedian novel is turning into a six-part sequence.
Sky have introduced that Matt Smith (Physician Who, Home of the Dragon) is to take the title function in an adaptation of Nick Cave’s The Loss of life of Bunny Munro.
The sequence begins filming in Spring 2024 throughout the south of England, presumably after Smith’s forthcoming West Finish run in Ibsen’s An Enemy of the Folks.

Following his spouse Libby’s suicide, intercourse addict, door-to-door magnificence product salesman and self-professed lothario Bunny Munro finds himself saddled with a younger son and solely a unfastened idea of parenting. Along with nine-year-old Bunny Junior he embarks on an epic and more and more out-of-control street journey throughout Southern England as the 2 battle to comprise their grief in very alternative ways.
The sequence comes from author Pete Jackson (Someplace Boy) and Clerkenwell Movies, in affiliation with Sky Studios. The director is Isabella Eklöf (Business).
Petra Fried, Ed Macdonald and Emily Harrison are Govt Producers for Clerkenwell Movies, with Manpreet Dosanjh (Sky Studios). As are Pete Jackson, Matt Smith, Nick Cave and Isabella Eklöf.

At its coronary heart a deep, troublesome, and tender story a couple of father and son, dealing with loss and alter. The Loss of life of Bunny Munro will air on Sky Atlantic and the NOW streaming service within the UK.
